Newly created opportunity for a Finance Analyst to work as a key member of our Finance and Operations team to drive the business through a period of significant growth. This is a dynamic role in a fast-moving culture.

Position Objective

The role blends financial and management accounting with the opportunity to drive value by partnering with the business. You will need to know your way around a set of accounts and be comfortable with supporting day to day operating finance and operations needs across the business. With offshore support your ability to drive processes will create the opportunity to grow the roles’ analytical and business partnering function.

This is a hands-on role alongside members of the Leadership team, with opportunity to have a significant impact on the future of the business.

The Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role within the Finance and Operations team taking ownership of finance systems and reporting, month end accounting, tax and compliance, AP/AR, payroll, sales and margin analysis, reconciliations, banking and inventory management and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Own the P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Process improvement
  • Month end close, statutory and tax reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supervision of accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Banking, payments and Trade Finance
  • Payroll
  • Sales and Margin Reporting
  • Stock Receipting
  • Inventory management and analysis
  • Budget and forecasting
  • Ad Hoc analysis and project work as required
  • International compliance
  • Operations support
  • 3PL Management
  • Finance systems lead
  • ERP Implementation

Qualification Requirements

  • CA or CPA
  • Degree qualified
  • At least 3+ years professional experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Xero experience desirable
  • Experience in mid size ERP’s desirable
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Possess a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
