About the Role

We are on the lookout for a creative Graphic Designer to join our close-knit team of marketers and creatives. Leading the junior Designer and reporting to the creative lead, you would be responsible for bringing design solutions to life which adhere to marketing strategies and business goals. 

You will actively contribute to Boody’s brand awareness and provide graphic design, digital design and print design services that promote our products and ethos and help us become the most loved sustainable everyday basics brand. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Creative Lead to bring a campaign from idea to launch supporting with photoshoots and executing creative direction across all digital touch points
  • Work collaboratively in the creative and marketing team to brainstorm, conceptualise & create on-brand, engaging graphics to illustrate and support brand communications across the website, social, edms and occasionally print 
  • Manage and review our packaging with our agency partners from concept to art worked delivery 
  • Manage relationships between printers and external vendor
  • Research competitors, trends, patterns and best-practises, visual/interaction design inspiration, user and business insights.
  • Design digital landing pages using best practice UI and UX principles 
  • Perform retouching and manipulation of images
  • Ensure the optimal delivery of content and brand assets to our international partners so that they are executing a consistent global campaign message
  • Project manage the daily creative teams tasks and identify opportunities for process, design system, style guide, user experience and documentation improvements.
  • Mentor and provide developmental support to our junior designer to ensure the creative team is set up for success to launch projects and campaigns
  • Support the team’s scalability through documentation and process improvement.

About You

We’re searching for someone with a drive and a true passion for design. You will support the design and development of the Boody brand marketing communications working to deliver marketing collaterals in line with the brand vision whilst ensuring the brand quality, value, standards and timelines are met. You have an eye for detail, love problem solving and are an excellent communicator who has experience managing multiple deadlines at once.

You have a passion for graphic design and take pride in your work and presentation and never back down from a challenge. You are constantly looking for ways to improve and have a strong work ethic. You’re a team player and support other members of the team from time to time while remaining accountable for your tasks through to completion.

    Qualification Requirements

    • Degree in Graphic Design or relevant field  
    • 3+ years experience as a dedicated designer
    • A strong portfolio demonstrating your passion for designing on-trend, relevant, and beautiful designs
    • Skills in video editing & animation 
    • Experience working with website CMS with working knowledge of HTML & CSS 
    • Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms such as Klaviyo Mailchimp, Pardot, Hubspot, or others 
    • Skilled in Adobe CC, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, Sketch
    • Skills in illustration, photography will be highly regarded

    The Fine Print

    • This role is full time and you are required to work from Boody HQ most days (if you're aligned with our values, you'll love being here).
    • We require you to have full residency or a permanent Visa in Australia.
