Over the past few years Boody has gained a household reputation within the Australian market whilst building strong brand momentum in key territories like North America and Scandinavia. 

We are now seeking an agile, energetic and professional sales executive to continue supporting our distribution expansion plans in international markets. Working alongside the Head of Sales, you will help spearhead the business development in new and existing markets across a combination of different distribution models. With a proven track record and supportive framework across Operations, Product & Marketing, you will harness an entrepreneurial mindset in your approach to building the Boody brand overseas.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development of the Boody brand, ultimately helping to spread a more sustainable product across the globe. 

You will spend the majority of your time exploring and nurturing new business development opportunities while supporting existing markets and working closely with the Head of Sales towards delivering on the global distribution strategy. In coordination with Boody HQ, you will be an integral link to the local market stakeholders (agents, distributors, licensees) to deliver on a best-in-class brand strategy which will ultimately drive sales.

      What You'll Do - Role Details

      • Prospecting:
        • Researching new markets to ascertain market size & potential, product-market fit, competition and any local laws or regulations
        • Work with the Head of Sales to identify key retailers, suitable sales agents, potential distributors to leverage the brand in new markets
      • Onboarding:
        • Support in the onboarding process for new stakeholders including retailers, key accounts, agents and distributors
      • Stakeholder management
        • Support Head of Sales with managing distributors in developing markets
        • Liaise with distribution partners as the first point of contact to support their regional growth
        • Consistent communication with each partner to support growth (bringing in subject matter experts from Boody HQ whenever required)
        • Make recommendations based on learnings and best practise from mature AU / US market
        • Identify and build relationships with key influential retail partners including online retailers
      • Business development
        • Support Head of Sales with execution of the global distribution strategy
        • Assist distribution partner teams with sales and promotional strategies
        • Understand regional market requirements and assist with strategies for success
        • Act as liaison between sales agents and Head of Sales for own-managed territories
        • Support Head of Sales with sales administration for key markets
      • Brand & Marketing support
        • Support in delivering go-to-market initiatives to markets
        • Acting as critical liaison for feedback loop to internal teams at Boody HQ
      • Reporting & market insights
        • Working with necessary stakeholders to provide financial and non-financial reporting, allowing internal Boody teams to stay up-to-date on the latest news within the markets, informing critical decision-making
        • Providing report packs to Head of Sales
      • Sales administration
        • Support with the necessary flow of information including sales & marketing collateral to sales teams
        • Assist with customer service for direct customers where required
        • Timely execution of invoicing and other necessary sales support for the markets, partners, retailers, etc.

        About You

        You are high energy, driven and self-motivated. You are confident, fun and you’re not scared to get your hands dirty and dive into complex problem-solving. You’re an excellent communicator and have the ability to develop and maintain great long-standing relationships. You have strong organisational skills and take initiative.

        The role will be Sydney based, however may require some international travel from time to time, which you’re definitely up for and excited by. You will be reporting to the Head of Sales.
