You might have noticed something different about us. Did we get a new hairstyle? No, that’s not it. Change our clothes? Nope, we’re still all about sustainable everyday essentials that people know and love us for.
So, what then? Well, if you look a little closer you’ll realise that we’ve given our logo a nice little refresh. Cleaner, more modern and a better representation of who we are today, here’s a brief overview of how and why we’ve given ourselves a little revamp.
But before we can get to this, it’s important to understand the journey our logo has been on up until now.
What you may or may not already know, is that the word ‘Boody’ is a play on the words ‘bamboo’ and ‘body’. Clever, right? So, our logo stems from the same playful origins, with the ‘B’ hinting to a cheeky bum shape (that’s why it was often tipped on its side), with the leaves representing our commitment to sustainability.
As you can see, this early design took on various forms before getting to where we are today.
New logo, same Boody
Say hello to our refreshed and streamlined logo, which has been modernised into a flat evolution of our original design. The leaves have been retained, but evolved and scaled down to balance weight between the text and symbol. The colour choice is neutral, timeless and soft – just like our garments.
But our new logo is about so much more than design jargon and looking pretty. Our refreshed logo is a nod to our past, but symbolises our future – who we are as a brand and where we’re going. It embodies our connection to the earth and our focus on constantly improving, innovating and refining how we can make more of a positive impact. It represents our lightheartedness and considered approach to everything we do.
What’s important to remember though, is that despite our refreshed logo, we’re still the same Boody. We still make your comfort our priority, we don’t take ourselves too seriously, we still have fun with what we do and we still care about the planet and the people who call it home more than anything else.
Over the next few months, you’ll see the new logo being rolled out on new packaging and in-store.
