different from the ones I had

"I have been buying boiled shorts from Boody for a long time. Always liked them apart from the fact that they don't last for ages. I thought these one were the same, but they turn out to have a significantly higher waist and feel a bit firmer and longer in the leg. I took a picture with my nude old boy shorts on top of the 2" shorts in black so you can see the the difference in coverage. I think the higher waist is comfy and good for some clothing, not so good for other. I like the slightly longer leg and firmer feel and I hope they hold longer than my old ones, although I am not whether it comes down to more nylon/elastane which I actually want to avoid for the planet's sake. . . . I am not sure why they are called seam free. There are definitely seams, but they are relatively flat. I like boiled shorts because they don't leave a VPL on your bum, but I find the seams on the side (near the hip joint) are visible under tight fitting pants. All in all I think I like these, but I would also like to see the old version back, ideally with a reinforced gusset and if possible at all even flatter seems."

Beautifully made but they ride up a LOT.

"The quality is great, fabric great. Was surprised at how much it cost to return them and did not get the entire purchase price back unless you exchanged - not returned. I was buying more only with the 6 inch leg length, but not doing it in the same transaction cost me money. Quince shortened their leg length on boyshort style and I got all my money back when I returned those to quince."
